Girl, U should b ashamed 2 let somebody do this 2 U
Even a blind man could see straight thru U
So sad U cry and U can't even tell him why
R U scared his gonna walk away?
And if does, don't U know it's maybe meant that way?
Sad puppet dance
Run when U get a chance
Cut the strings that bind U 2 the sad puppet dance
Gold dust blinds the weak at heart
Money can't buy U strength
Don't spend all ur wishes on a lonely affair
Or all ur hopes on what isn't even there
"Who am I 2 speak?" said the puppeteer asks
Just someone who watches thru rose-colored glasses says I
I dance a happy dance cuz I'm strong and n love
And if U could let go, I could teach U so much
But until then go on
Sad puppet dance
Cut the strings that bind U 2 the sad puppet dance
Go on
Cut the strings
He may even b there after U do that
Take a chance
Stop this sad puppet dance
Strength is the only thing that's gonna make U win that man
Stop dancing
Stop
And stop crying 2
"Who am I 2 speak?" says the puppeteer
Just someone who watches thru rose-colored glasses
Just someone who watches thru rose-colored glasses
Just someone who watches, that's all
